Small business week kicked off this year on 19th October, fronted by Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones and former CBI chief Lord Digby Jones.
Business Week’s programme includes a host of nationwide events designed to help small business owners become more effective and profitable. Many of the seminars are free and hosted by business leaders who are experts in their field. So, by taking the time to get involved (and picking up some great advice) you could make a big difference to your business.
The home of the event, for the first two days, will be the BT Tower in London, which will be focussing on emerging technologies and how small business owners can use them effectively to their advantage.
What’s more, there are many free workshops available to attend across the country, with master classes across all aspects of business management. For example, on 21st October the University of Nottingham is hosting a seminar at the Innovation Park about finding new funding routes.
With so many events on offer, it’s worth visiting www.sbw09.co.uk and clicking on ‘Events Listing’ to find out what’s happening near you.
